Agricultural concessions

Agricultural concession refers to an agreement in which the Liberian government leases land away to a foreign entity in the agriculture sector in exchange for the payment of fees and royalties. The foreign entity has the right to explore and extract natural resources from that land, in this case Rubber and Palm Oil.

This data set was compiled by AidData who collected information from the Liberia Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and Liberia National Concession Portal.
