GEOGLAM Crop Monitor and Reports
The GEOGLAM initiative was developed by The Group on Earth Observations (hosted by the World Meteorological Organization in Geneva, Switzerland), a partnership of governments and international organizations. The role of GEOGLAM is to coordinate satellite monitoring observation systems in different regions of the world in order to enhance crop production projections and weather forecasting data. In the same line, AMIS assesses global food supplies (focusing on wheat, maize, rice and soybeans) and provides a platform to coordinate policy action in times of market uncertainty.
