El Salvador

The data for this 3D map of El Salvador was captured during the 11-day Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) in February 2000, using a sophisticated radar system installed aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour. The shuttle orbited the Earth recording images from 60° North latitude to 54° South latitude, which represents approximately 80% of the land surface.
