Living off the land: Contemporary subsistence in Tetlin, Alaska

The purpose of this study is to document how residents of Tetlin currently use the lands surrounding them. The results will enable the FWS and State agencies concerned with regional resource allocation to better understand patterns of local use. Hunting, trapping, fishing, and plant gathering activities are described.
