NDVI Comparison for the Dry season 2010-2011

A comparison of NDVI data for dry seasons between March 13-20, 2010 and 2011 is shown in the following map. The eastern part of the country represents one the most extensive agricultural areas, specifically sugar cane, and the fact that the NDVI decreased in this area is related to the productive cycle of this crop.
