Preliminary analysis of flooded areas in the District of Panama, Panama, 9 December 2010

This map shows the flooded areas detectable by RADARSAT-2 for December 9, 2010 (5:46). Here, 618 hectares of inundated land were detected in the District of Panama. Among the most affected corregimientos in Panama were Chilibre, Ancon and Tocumen, each having an estimated 100+ ha flooded. Layers on this map include information from the Canadian Space Agency / MDA Geospatial, CATHALAC, the Contraloria of Panama, NASA, NGA and USGS.
