Scaled Drought Condition Index (SDCI) year 2000-2016

The SDCI map was created under the Mekong River Basin Agriculture project. Partner organizations to this project included the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC)/SERVIR Mekong Hub and the Royal Thai Embassy. The thematic layer of SDCI shows values from 0 to 1 when values that are less than 0.5 represent drought conditions. The thematic layer was created through a python script using data from Aqua MODIS, Terra MODIS, TRMM PR and GPM IMERG. Data products are provided on a monthly basis, from year 2000-2016.
