Sedimentation in Coasts of El Salvador

This preliminary analysis covers the areas of La Paz, San Vicente and Usulutan, to identify different concentrations of sediment loads coming out of the Rio Jiboa, Estero de Jaltepeque and Cordoncillo, and Rio Lempa. Approximately 26 square kilometers of coastal sediments can be identified in this image, extending at least 5 kilometers from the coast.
