Rodgers et al, 2002. "Extension and Subsidence of the Eastern Snake River Plain, Idaho." The deformational history of the eastern Snake River Plain (SRP) is interpreted from rocks, structures, and landforms within and adjacent to it. Crustal extension is manifested by west-dipping normal faults that define a halfgraben fault style along the north and south margins of the plain.
