Tanzania Wami Ruvu Rufiji Flood Frequency Layer

This product is one of the indicator layers selected in assessing vulnerability during Wami-Ruvu-Rufiji mapping. Flood frequency layer is an estimate of flood events in 100 years within the Wami Ruvu and Rufiji basins obtained from UNEP GRID.High flood frequency events translates to high exposure of a population or ecosystem, this has a linear relationship to the overall vulnerability component.
