Tanzania Wami Ruvu Rufiji Malaria Endemic Index

This product is one of the indicator layers selected in assessing vulnerability during Wami-Ruvu-Rufiji mapping. Malaria Susceptability index shows rates for malaria endemicity derived from PR prevalence mean(Plasmodium falciparium parasite rate). The malaria susceptability index dataset is obtained from Malaria Atlas project(2010). High malaria susceptibility rate values translates to high sensitivity, this has an direct relationship to the overall vulnerability component.
