This data set represents environmental DNA (eDNA) data obtained from water samples collected in the Sacramento River watershed and in the Central Valley, CA, USA. Specifically, Metabarcoding and quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) data targeting the piscine assemblage in the Sacramento River and the and brachiopod species in Vernal pools.
