Designated Heritage and Wild Trout Waters - CDFW [ds1356]

This dataset represents lakes, stream reaches and, where applicable, watersheds which are the designated Heritage or Wild Trout waters in California. The individual waters are proposed annually by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Heritage and Wild Trout Program, and officially designated by the Fish and Game Commission. The policy can be found on the California Fish and Game Commission's website for Fisheries Policies. This dataset is updated annually, and this version is current as of October 2024.
