DWW Mainlines (Probable Flow)

This layer displays all connected or to be connected mainline pipes within the City of Seattle (and the former service area north of the City limits) regardless of ownership and not including detention systems.  Probable flow is the derived use classification based on what is the best estimation of usage broken out by Combined Sewer, Drainage, and Sanitary.  A Combined Sewer is a type of sewer system that collects sanitary sewage and stormwater runoff into a single pipe system.  A sanitary sewer is a type of underground system for transporting sewage.  A drainage system transports waste water from buildings and water run-off from streets. Data source is DWW. MAINLINE_LN_PV.  Refreshed weekly.  Maintained by SPU GIS DWW Data Maintenance staff.
