Includes calculation of change.These estimates are meant to provide a consistent set of small area population and housing data for statewide applications. SAEP estimates are generated for census areas and other areas of statewide significance.While these estimates are not the official estimate for revenue distribution, they are controlled to the jurisdiction totals and reflect the most timely and spatially refined estimates available.The SAEP estimates use different methods than similar estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau and therefore will be different from the various Census Bureau programs such as the American Community Survey and the Population Estimates Program.
