This layer represents the volume of freshwater abstracted in 2007 in million cubic meters. Freshwater abstracted refers to the sum of both fresh surface water and fresh groundwater abstracted. Values are also available for other years. Those estimates are provided by the Environment Statistics Section of the United Nation Statistics Division (UNSD).
