Geomechanical Model for Gas Shales Based on the Integration of Stress Measurements

The objectives of the project is to collect stress profiles in three wells in the Marcellus gas system, interpret them employing a full suite of lag and core based petrophysical data, and to develop a geomechanical model that can be used when engineering stimulations are required.
