Gulf Coast States - Constant Recorders

Continuous, real-time hydrographic data recorders have been installed and maintained along the Louisiana coast by the La. Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries in conjunction with the U. S. Geological Survey. The recorders measure salinity, water temperature, water level, and conductance at all of the stations. In addition, some stations have the capability of recording wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, rainfall, and air temperature.
