Images and time-lapse videos of a ripple field in Grand Falls Dune Field, Arizona, from July 2023 to November 2024, Grand Falls Dune Field, Arizona

From July 2023 to July 2024, we used three BlazeVideo cameras, which took time-stamped images every ten minutes. In July 2024 we replaced the BlazeVideo cameras with three Browning trail cameras. From July 2024 to November 2024 the Browning cameras took images every ten minutes. Browning cameras compile all images taken within a 24 hr period and generate time-lapse videos, which are included in this data release. The imagery component also includes camera metadata, such as the camera’s height above the ground surface, the tilt angle relative to the horizontal (look angle), the compass direction the camera was facing (azimuth), and any adjustments made or observational notes.
