Knowledge, Attitudes, and Perceptions of FKNMS Dive Operators

A total of 69 dive operators in the Florida Keys, representing 77.5% of the region's operator population, provided information on their use of dive and snorkel sites in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, including their use of no-take zones within the Sanctuary. The operators also provided socio-demographic, economic, and perceptions data, which served to compare their performance in and views concerning the Sanctuary and its regulations.
