Loudoun County's Big Trees

Loudoun County is fortunate to have some of the finest hardwood stands found anywhere in the Commonwealth.  Almost one third of Loudoun is in forest cover with the great majority of acreage found on the Blue Ridge, Short Hill, and Catoctin mountain ranges.Data sources for this map product include Loudoun County and Virginia Tech's Big Tree Database.For more information on "Big Trees" of Loudoun visit www.loudoun.gov/BigTreeRegistry.
