This website was created to support the use of apps, maps, and data from the Disaster Crowdsourced Photo initiative. Click on the interactive links to upload photos, browse photos, or interact with the data through maps and apps.How does it work?Gathering: Photos are collected via social media, news reports, or from people in the affected area. Volunteers and automated processes help to identify relevant photos in social media streams.Uploading: Photos are located (using clues in the photo or description) and then uploaded to the platform via a simple Survey123 App.Vetting: Photos are vetted for authenticity and appropriateness, approved, and categorized by the most relevant Community Lifeline category.Engagement: Photos are made available to stakeholders via applications shown below.Analysis: Photos are made available via Open Data to agency analysts who can use this as part of their response and recovery projects.
