RFR Testing of Cellular Sites

Radio-frequency radiation (RFR) measurement of cellular sites is mandated by Section 18 (1) of the Telecommunications Act (2004). As of February 2015, RFR testing has been performed on 663 operational cellular sites, including towers and rooftop sites, throughout the country by TATT. Testing is performed every 4 to 5 years per site. This data set comprises for each site: service provider, site ID, site name, address, latitude, longitude, testing date, maximum power density and the distance of the test equipment from the antennae.
