A riparian zone or riparian area is the interface between land and a river or stream.</div><div><br />Areas which are the riparian watercourse and the riparian management area. The riparian watercourse is the watercourse of Type 2-5 waters defined in WAC 222-16-031 that have fish or wildlife habitat.
