Riverine Modeled Depth Grids - Hurricane Harvey

Riverine Depth Grids generated by FEMA from 5m DEM obtained by USGS and Stream/River Gauges.  Includes both Modeled Preliminary Observations and Modeled Forecast.Modeled Preliminary Observations:

o   Based on observed Water Levels at stream gauges interpolated along rivers, down-sampled to 5m resolution DEM

o   Depth grids updated with new observed peak crest as they become available

o   Will include High Water Mark information as it becomes available

o   Extents validated with remote sensing

o   Use for determining damage levels on specific structuresModeled Forecast:

o   Based on AHPS Full Period Maximum Forecast Water Levels at stream gauges interpolated at 500m spacing along rivers, down-sampled to 30m resolution DEM

o   Depth grids are a snapshot each day of the peaks of available forecast data

o   Extents validated with remote sensing
