Shale Basin and Plays World

The dataset provides an overview of major natural basins and plays that are targets of gas and liquid hydrocarbon unconventinoal resources worldwide. It was created from various sources at West Virginia GIS Technical Center, Dept. of Geology and Geography, West Virginia University. The data set has been created as part of the project between World Resources Institute and WVU.
