TV_TTO_Trinidad_Chaguaramas_heavy_metal_contamination_of_I.felix_ 2001-2002

Heavy metal levels of the Ircinia Felix sp. (Stinker Sponge) was tested in sediments in 2003. As part of an investigation of the heavy metal levels in sediment and interstitial waters, and their effect on community structure of marine soft-bottom benthos from Port of Spain to Chaguaramas. Metals tested included cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), lead (Pb) and zinc (Zn).
