Budget data extracted from the Jamaica Budget Information System (JaBIS) for FY 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Data available for Pattern, Head, Function, Sub-function, Program, Sub-program, and Activity (with codes and descriptions). Values available for approved, revised, statutory, and appropriations-in-aid. Approved and revised are equivalent to Approved Estimates and Revised Estimates respectively in the Estimates of Expenditure. According to the Government of Jamaica Chart of Accounts Manual, statutory corresponds to budgetary funds provided based on the authority of the Constitution or an Act of Parliament other than the Appropriation Act. Meanwhile, appropriations-in-aid are funds obtained from user fees which Ministries, Departments, and Agencies are authorized to offset against their expenditure. For additional information on the structure of the budget, please refer to the Government of Jamaica Chart of Accounts Manual.
