Tampa CV Pilot Multi-Modal Intelligent Traffic Signal Systems (MMITSS) Data (Restricted Access)

This dataset contains JSON-formatted Siemens-Multi-Modal Intelligent Traffic Signal Systems (MMITSS) calculated metrics, captured as a part of the Tampa Connected Vehicle (CV) Pilot project. Siemens-MMITSS receives Basic Safety Messages (BSMs) from on-board units (OBUs) and estimates queue lengths based on monitoring each vehicle’s speed and location as it approaches the intersection. This queue length is used as input to the Intelligent Traffic Signal System (I-SIG) for optimizing the phase time allocation. Siemens-MMITSS also receives priority service requests via Signal Request Messages (SRMs) from OBUs of equipped buses.

No additional access is being granted to this dataset at this time. For publicly accessible CV Pilot data and tools, please see the CV Pilot Open Data page.
