Urban Areas

The features were created based on the 2020 US Census data and agreements made between LADOTD and local municipal areas. There are (8) Metropolitan Planning Areas MPA and (47) Urban Areas, all approved by FHWA in 2024. 10/6/2025 revision to remove MS portion of Natchez boundary
