WBD HU2 Boundaries

The High Resolution National Hydrography Dataset Plus (NHDPlus HR) is a hydrography framework built from an integrated set of geospatial data layers, including the best available National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), the 10-meter 3D Elevation Program Digital Elevation Model (3DEP DEM), and the national Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD). This map displays status information about the production and availability of the NHDPlus HR data. The map is composed of a basemap and layers that display WBD hydrologic units (HU2, HU4, HU6). The HU2 layer is a reference layer that is labeled with the hydrologic unit codes. The HU4 layer displays the status of the NHDPlus HR production and availability. Similarly, the HU6 layer displays the status of certain NHDPlus HR pilot datasets. The Stewardship Status layer displays which areas are closed to NHD and WBD editing in order to prepare these source datasets for the NHDPlus HR processing. Click on the "Show Map Legend" icon to view the status descriptions for the layers.
