| notes | We will visit two 5k segments within GRSM as part of a larger research study on the Appalachian Trail to take an array of measurements on the condition of the A.T. tread and to map informal (visitor-created) trails, and assess all recreation sites (shelters, campsites, day-use sites). Our field crew has three staff and this work can be conducted in approximately 3 days. All measurements are non-destructive. No biological materials are sampled or collected. |
