Development of Carbon Nanotube Composite Cables for Ultra Deep Water Oil and Gas Fields Fact Sheet

The objectives of the project are to double the electrical conductivity of carbon nanotube - copper composites utilizing the new Acoustic Flow Cytometry and/or Acoustically Engineered Materials techniques. Once accomplished, a method will be developed to scale up the composites' length, and the composite length will be extended to 100 meters while maintaining (or improving) other physical characteristics and physical properties.
