Fatigue Performance of High Strength Riser Materials in Sour Environments

High strength riser steels which resist fatigue damage in a sour corrosive environment offer significant weight advantages for deepwater structures. Southwest Research Institute is laboratory testing the compatibility of six high strength materials for their performance in such riser service.
