Forest Practice Watershed Mapper

The Forest Practice Watershed Mapper shows Anadromous Salmonid Protection status of planning watersheds as required of every timber operation, and provides data on the cumulative impact of timber harvest.The Anadromous Salmonid Protection (ASP) Rules require that every timber operation contribute to salmonid habitat restoration. The Forest Practice Watershed Mapper displays timber harvesting activities at the planning watershed level to provide information on past and present timber harvesting activities. You can find your area of interest using a Calwater Planning Watershed number, a THP, WFMP, or NTMP number, or by Township, Range, and Section. You may also pan and zoom to the area of interest, interactively with the map. Navigation and query tools allow users to focus on specific areas of the State, while a selection of base layers, including imagery and topographic maps, provide geographic context for the areas of interest.
