This Web Mapping Application was shows the recently developed Kansas Ecological Systems Map and associated field sites used for the mapping endeavor.

The development of the Ecological Systems Map was a collaborative effort between the following state agencies and Universities: Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (provided funding) Nebraska Fish and Game (provided funding) University of Missouri University of Kansas University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chardon State

Data Sources include: Field sites in Kansas and Nebraska Sentinel Satellite Imagery NRCS Soils data Kansas Forest Service USGS Topography Ecoregions
