Landfill Areas

To implement and regulate the City of Seattle's Environmentally Critical Areas policies.See code section number 25.09.020 of the Seattle Municipal Code for a more complete definition of environmentally critical areas: https://library.municode.com/wa/seattle/codes/municipal_code?nodeId=TIT25ENPRHIPR_CH25.09REENCRARA polygon feature class showing landfill areas and former landfill sites. Used to implement and regulate the City of Seattle's Environmentally Critical Areas policies. This layer was table digitized in 1996 using abandoned landfill information from King County Department of Public Health.  For those abandoned landfills emitting methane, a 1,000 foot buffer was created and so indicated in the attribute table.To implement and regulate the City of Seattle's Environmentally Critical Areas policies.
