Nigeria Tuberculosis Program Quality of Care Study 2019

This is a study of the quality of TB care by public and private health care providers in Lagos and Kano states. The study uses a mystery client (also known as standardized patient) survey design to obtain unbiased data on facility management of patients with presumptive and confirmed TB. The study includes data from multiple cadres including public and private clinical facilities, private stand-alone laboratories, community pharmacies, and PPMVs (drug sellers). Some of the private providers included in this study are part of a multi-cadre service network of private providers managed by the USAID-funded SHOPS Plus project.
