The NED shaded relief is a pseudo three-dimensional representation of the topography of North Dakota derived from the 3 arc-second, 1:250,000 scale, digital elevation models. This dataset has a 3x vertical exaggeration. Created from USGS 250K DEM which has a horizontal point spacing of 3 arc seconds. Did some editing, removing the edge errors. Used for presentations at a large scale. Constraints: Not to be used for navigation, for informational purposes only. See full disclaimer for more information
