Supporting data for journal article, Glacier Runoff Extension to the Precipitation Runoff Modeling System

This archive contains modeling artifacts for the journal article: Van Beusekom, A. E., and R. J. Viger (2016), A glacier runoff extension to the Precipitation Runoff Modeling System, J. Geophys. Res. Earth Surf., 121, 2001-2021, doi:10.1002/2015JF003789. This paper demonstrates the extension to PRMS through applications to two smaller, glaciated watersheds (Gulkana, Wolverine) in Alaska. This archive includes the executable used to simulate hydrology (in the bin directory). If the reader would like to recompile the executable for their computing platform (the bin only holds an executable for Mac OSX), this can be done using the contents of the PRMS_fullGlacWG subdirectory (instructions on this below). The final inputs and outputs to these models used in the journal article are separated into parallel subdirectories, GulkanaModel and WolverineModel. Also provided are the data against which preliminary parameter values were calibrated to create the final inputs used in the publication. These calibration data are also broken into two subdirectories, one for each watershed (GulkanaCalibrationData and WolverineCalibrationData). The post-processing script and its output used to create statistics and figures for the journal article are included in the Figures subdirectory.
